Temporary Traffic Diversion on Fifth Ring Road
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, in collaboration with the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport (GART) and the General Traffic Department (GTD), announced a temporary traffic diversion on the Fifth Ring Road.

The diversion, which began this Sunday morning and will continue until next Thursday morning. It affects traffic in both directions at the intersection with Ibn Al Qasim Street. Implemented daily between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM. This measure is necessary to facilitate essential road maintenance and ensure the safety of commuters during the designated period.
“The GART is committed to maintaining Kuwait’s road infrastructure for the benefit of all motorists,” stated a spokesperson for the ministry. “We understand that this temporary diversion may cause some inconvenience, and we urge drivers to plan their journeys accordingly.”
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during the designated diversion times and strictly adhere to all traffic regulations and signage implemented by the GTD. The Ministry of Public Works appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding as they work to improve Kuwait’s road network, reported Arab Times.
