Kuwait Prime Minister Visits Grand Mosque at Start of Ramadan’s Last Ten Nights

Kuwait: Kuwait’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, inspected the Grand Mosque on Saturday night. The visit coincided with the beginning of the final ten nights of the holy month of Ramadan. The Prime Minister was joined by Deputy Prime Minister Shareeda Al-Mousherji and Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs Faisal Said Al-Gharib.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the Grand Mosque’s readiness for the anticipated influx of worshippers during Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power. Mosque administrators briefed the Prime Minister on the implemented measures to ensure the smooth facilitation of religious observances. Discussions also covered the collaborative efforts undertaken by various government agencies to guarantee a serene and spiritually enriching environment for all worshippers throughout this sacred period, reported KUNA.
