Unstable Weather Expected in Kuwait Until Friday, Public Advised to Take Caution
Kuwait: The Kuwait Meteorological Center has issued a weather alert effective immediately, advising residents to prepare for unstable weather conditions persisting until Friday. The forecast predicts a period of significant rainfall commencing this evening in western Kuwait, with intensity increasing on Tuesday. Central and southern regions are identified as most likely to experience the heaviest downpours.

The public is advised to exercise caution as thunderstorms with hail are a possibility. Winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour are anticipated, causing rough seas with waves exceeding six feet and reduced visibility in some areas. Fog formation is also a potential risk.
The Ministry urges the public to postpone non-essential sea travel during this period. In case of flooding or other weather-related issues, residents are encouraged to report them through the Ministry of Public Works’ hotline, emergency application, or various communication channels. While the heaviest rain is expected earlier in the week. There is still a chance of light to moderate showers on Friday morning.
