This move comes after reports of outstanding electricity dues reaching between 125 and 130 million dinars for private housing alone. The Ministry emphasizes their commitment to recovering these public funds and urges citizens to settle their outstanding balances before the link becomes active.

The Ministry assures residents that various payment options are available, including online platforms and customer service facilities, to help them clear their dues conveniently and avoid further accumulation.

In other news, Dr. Mahmoud Boushehri, the Minister responsible for Electricity, Water and Housing, conducted an inspection of power and water stations in Doha to ensure their readiness for the summer season. He commended the national workforce for their dedication and highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to their continued development, reported Al Jarida daily.
