Kuwait: Kuwait’s Supreme Committee for Nationality Investigation announced the revocation of citizenship for nine individuals on Monday, March 11th, 2024. The decision was published in an official supplement to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Youm.

Details regarding the specific reasons for the revocations were not disclosed. However, the committee cited Articles 9, 10, and 11 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 on Kuwaiti Nationality Law as the legal basis for their actions. One of the individuals who lost citizenship is a woman holding American citizenship.
