Kuwait Airport: Over a Million Passengers in April
Kuwait: Kuwait International Airport witnessed a significant rise in passenger traffic in April 2024, exceeding 1.1 million travelers, according to the Civil Aviation Directorate General. This marks an 11% increase compared to April 2023.

The airport also saw a 13% increase in aircraft movement and a 10% rise in air cargo activity during the same period.
“The number of arrivals reached 564,638, while departures reached 618,242,” said Abdullah Al-Rajhi, deputy director general for aviation safety and air transport.
The data indicates a busy travel month for Kuwait, with popular destinations including Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha. The increase in air cargo activity further suggests a boost in trade and commerce, reported KUNA.
