This initiative reflects MEW’s commitment to social responsibility. And ensuring uninterrupted access to essential utilities for all residents during this important religious period. The suspension applies solely to private residences. Customers whose water service has been previously disconnected will be required to settle their outstanding balances with MEW for service reinstatement.

MEW acknowledges the need for responsible debt collection practices. However, the Ministry prioritizes public well-being, particularly during Ramadan. Proactive measures have been implemented, with MEW reaching out to government agencies to encourage the prompt settlement of outstanding electricity and water bills before the fiscal year concludes. This collaborative effort aims to minimize future debt accumulation and optimize overall collection rates.
