Jahra, Kuwait: The Embassy of India in Kuwait is delighted to announce the opening of a new Consular Application Centre (ICAC) in Jahra, Kuwait. This strategic expansion strengthens the embassy’s commitment to serving the substantial Indian expatriate community residing in the Jahra region. The Jahra ICAC becomes the fourth center of its kind in Kuwait. It complements existing facilities in Kuwait City, Fahaheel, and Jleeb.

The Consular, passport, and visa services will be available at building No. 27, Al Khalifa building, second floor, offices 3 & 14, block No. 93, Jahra, Kuwait. The Centre will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The new center will provide a comprehensive suite of consular services for Indian nationals. Encompassing passport applications and assistance with obtaining amnesty-related travel documents. Additionally, the ICAC will facilitate a streamlined visa application process for Kuwaiti citizens and foreign nationals seeking entry to India.

The establishment of the Jahra ICAC exemplifies the Indian government’s unwavering dedication to improving the accessibility and efficiency of public services. The center is specifically designed to minimize wait times and ensure a smooth application experience for all users.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has witnessed a continuous rise in visa applications from Kuwaiti citizens in recent years. In line with facilitating travel, the embassy routinely issues multiple-entry tourist visas within a single business day for Kuwaiti and third-country nationals. The embassy processed approximately 10,000 visas in 2023 alone. Kuwait Local reported.
