Eidiya Made Easier: Central Bank Expands ATM Services in Malls
Kuwait: The Central Bank of Kuwait has announced a convenient service for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations. To cater to the demand for smaller denomination banknotes used for Eidiya gifts, the Bank will be providing ATM services in select commercial complexes.

A press release from the Central Bank confirmed the availability of ATMs in popular locations like Avenues Mall, 360 Mall, Al Kout Mall, and Assima Mall. This service will run from April 14th, two days before Eid al-Fitr, and continue until the second day of Eid.
This initiative, in collaboration with KNET (Shared Automated Banking Services Company) and participating malls, aims to make acquiring smaller denomination banknotes more accessible to the public. In previous years, these denominations often ran low in regular ATMs during the Eid period.
The expanded ATM service offers a welcome convenience for those distributing Eidiya, the traditional gift of money given to children and loved ones during Eid al-Fitr, Kuwait Local reported.
