Eid Al-Adha Holiday Cancellations on the Rise
Kuwait City, Kuwait: Travelers in Kuwait are canceling their Eid Al-Adha holiday reservations due to the short duration of the official holiday period. Many had anticipated a full week off and booked their trips accordingly.

“Demand for travel during Eid is still above average,” said Ayman Zandah, General Manager of Salhiya World Tourism and Travel Company. However, he noted a surge in cancellations after the official holiday dates were announced.
Zandah assures that ticket prices haven’t significantly increased compared to normal days. This is likely due to the short break and travelers opting to wait for the extended summer vacation period. He added that round-trip ticket prices during Eid range from:
- KD240-400 to London
- KD210 to Istanbul
- KD200 to Cairo and Lebanon
Overall, travel agencies report affordable ticket prices despite the shorter Eid Al-Adha holiday.
