Amir Appoints new Prime Minister, Tasks Him with Forming Government
KUWAIT, April: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has appointed Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as the Prime Minister of Kuwait.

In an Amiri Order issued on Monday, His Highness the Amir assigned Sheikh Ahmad to the role of Prime Minister and tasked him with the formation of a new government. Sheikh Ahmad is instructed to propose the names of ministers for appointment to their respective positions.
Furthermore, His Highness the Amir directed the Prime Minister to formally inform the National Assembly of this appointment, with the order set to take effect upon publication in the official gazette.
This significant decision marks a pivotal moment in Kuwait’s political landscape, signaling the beginning of a new phase as Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah assumes leadership responsibilities to steer the country forward.
