“Wajud-Tawajud” leverages geolocation and Bluetooth technology to facilitate fingerprint verification for teachers involved in tasks, workshops, or training sessions outside their schools. This innovative approach addresses previous challenges associated with traditional fingerprint attendance methods in such scenarios.

The implementation of “Wajud-Tawajud” signifies the MoE’s commitment to streamlining administrative processes and enhancing efficiency for its staff. The app will specifically benefit teachers with control responsibilities, who previously encountered difficulties returning to their schools for fingerprint verification due to their assigned duties, reported Arab Times.

Additional Education Updates:

  • The MoE is actively finalizing preparations for upcoming final exams for middle school students (grades 10 & 11).
  • To optimize exam administration, the MoE has implemented a policy restricting rotations of head members and members of high school exam monitoring committees within their respective educational districts. This decision addresses concerns regarding unnecessary external rotations that caused confusion during previous exams.
  • Acting Undersecretary Mansour Al-Daihani has reportedly approved rotation lists for monitoring, correction, and control committees in secondary schools and the scientific and literary departments. Official announcements regarding these committee rotations are expected to be released next week.
