Muhammad Sandan, the official spokesperson for the municipality, attributed the surge to improper disposal of rubble and waste in front of residential and commercial properties across all six governorates. He emphasized stricter enforcement of penalties against violators who disregard waste disposal regulations.

Property owners are urged to comply with municipal rules that mandate them to remove debris from their premises to avoid fines. The municipality remains committed to upholding regulations and ensuring a clean environment. Their dedicated teams will continue removing waste of unknown origin and issuing citations to those who fail to adhere to proper waste management practices.
