Previously, the app displayed a green label for individuals who were fully vaccinated. The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has now discontinued the link between the app and vaccination data.

This decision coincides with the Ministry of Health’s discontinuation of the “Immune” and “Shlownik” mobile applications, both launched during the height of the pandemic.

These developments suggest that Kuwait is moving on from a period of stricter COVID-19 regulations. While the full implications of this change remain to be seen, it signifies a potential return to pre-pandemic practices for many residents.
