Kuwait City, Kuwait: Kuwait International Airport handled 1.15 million passengers in May 2024, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This represents a significant increase compared to May 2023.

- Arrivals: 532,841

Increase in Flights and Air Cargo:
- 9,959 flights operated in May 2024 compared to 9,744 in May 2023.
- Total air cargo reached 20.4 million kgs.
- Inbound cargo: 16.8 million kgs.
- Outbound cargo: 3.5 million kgs.
