The amnesty program offers violators a chance to choose their path forward. They can opt for the “Regularization Path” and legalize their residency by paying any fines. This would allow them to stay in Kuwait with proper documentation. Alternatively, they can choose “Departure with a Clean Slate.” This option lets them leave the country during the designated period without paying fines or being blacklisted. This means they wouldn’t face any penalties for leaving and could potentially return to Kuwait in the future under legal circumstances.

This amnesty program signifies a proactive step by the Kuwaiti government towards resolving residency irregularities. It provides a clear and structured framework for violators to address their circumstances and potentially secure a more legal and stable future in the country.
