Kuwait: Local newspaper Al-Qabas reported that The State of Kuwait witnessed the successful launch of its inaugural “Kuwait Sports Day” initiative on the Sheikh Jaber Bridge. The event, held under the distinguished patronage of His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, saw a remarkable participation of approximately 13,000 individuals.

Aimed at fostering a culture of health and well-being within the community, “Kuwait Sports Day” offered a diverse program of activities. Participants were presented with the opportunity to compete in a challenging 5-kilometer walking race or a more demanding 15-kilometer cycling race. Additionally, the event featured sports demonstrations and exhibitions, providing educational and engaging experiences for all attendees. Group competitions further promoted inclusivity, encouraging participation from individuals of all ages and abilities.
