Fines and Deportation for Unauthorized Individuals:

  • A fine of 10,000 riyals (approximately $2,660 USD) will be imposed on anyone caught in designated Hajj areas without a valid permit. This applies to Saudi citizens, residents, and visitors alike.
  • Residents violating this rule face deportation and a Saudi entry ban for a specified period.
  • Repeat offenders will be subject to a doubled fine of 10,000 riyals.

Penalties for Illegal Transportation:

  • Individuals caught transporting unauthorized pilgrims risk imprisonment for up to 6 months and a fine of up to 50,000 riyals (approximately $13,300 USD).
  • Vehicles used for such transport may be confiscated.
  • Expatriate transporters face deportation and a Saudi entry ban.
  • The financial penalty for transporting unauthorized individuals increases with the number of pilgrims involved.

Kuwaiti Hajj preparations are nearing completion. The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has finalized the registration process for the 8,000 Kuwaiti pilgrims approved for Hajj 1445 AH. Electronic Hajj permits are anticipated to be issued shortly, allowing these pilgrims to proceed with their pilgrimage. Furthermore, Saudi authorities have designated locations in Mina and Arafat specifically for the Kuwaiti Hajj mission and caravans, ensuring a smooth and organized pilgrimage experience for Kuwaiti participants.
