According to MET weather experts, the arrival of the Al Mukharif star marks the beginning of a 13-day period with noticeably higher temperatures, particularly during the afternoon hours. Nights are expected to remain moderate.

This shift coincides with the conclusion of the Al Daran season, historically characterized by longer daylight hours – reaching approximately 13 hours and 12 minutes – and the presence of the Al Bawareh wind, as reported by the Al Ajri Scientific Center.

The MET recommends the following precautionary measures to mitigate heat-related risks:

  • Maintain proper hydration by consuming ample fluids throughout the day.
  • Limit strenuous activity during peak heat hours.
  • Wear protective clothing and sunscreen when outdoors.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed by following the KMD for the latest weather updates and advisories.
