Kuwait City, Kuwait – In a move aimed at bolstering efficiency and streamlining business operations, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the launch of nine new electronic services on the “Sahel Business” platform.

This development, outlined by Yousef Kazem, official spokesperson for the unified government e-services application “Sahel,” signifies the Ministry’s commitment to continuous improvement within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Entrepreneurs can now leverage the “Sahel Business” app to access a comprehensive suite of features, including:

• Enhanced License Management: Track the status of license applications, including printing requests for entry permits and verification of license validity.
• Streamlined Document Handling: Electronically request printing of official licenses and copies, simplifying document management.
• Efficient License Renewals and Cancellations: Initiate and monitor license renewals and cancellations through the platform, eliminating the need for physical processes.
• Status Reconciliation Committee Updates: Receive updates on the status of license applications following decisions by the Status Reconciliation Committee.

By adopting these digital solutions, the Ministry aims to significantly reduce administrative burdens for entrepreneurs. This initiative is expected to foster a more efficient business environment, allowing entrepreneurs to dedicate their time and resources to core business activities.

Kazem further emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to ongoing development. He indicated that these nine services represent the initial phase, with additional features planned for the “Sahel Business” platform to further enhance the ease of doing business in Kuwait.
